With 15 years of extensive experience, Lindsay has profoundly influenced the business landscapes of Suriname and the Netherlands. Her expertise spans economic development, entrepreneurship, government relations, marketing, organisational development, project management, strategic communications, and social sustainability.

Lindsay holds a Master’s degree in Communications and Information Sciences, a Bachelor’s certificate in Business Management, and a Bachelor’s degree in Communications and Information Sciences from Radboud University Nijmegen (The Netherlands). Furthering her credentials, Lindsay is a Certified Professional in Organisation Development from the Institute of Organisation Development, USA, and holds Spiral Dynamics Level 1 and 2 Certification (PhD Level) from the Adizes Institute, USA.

Currently, Lindsay serves as the Director and founder of Etnonomics BV in Amsterdam. She is also the Managing Partner and founder of R&G Consulting NV in Suriname, serving high-profile clients such as Rosebel Gold Mines, IDB, Conservation International Suriname, Hakrinbank, Telesur, WWF Guianas, the Government of Suriname, Centrale Bank van Suriname, PAHO, and Suriname Airways.

From 2010 to 2020, Lindsay co-owned and founded Forward Motion in Suriname, working with clients like Kuldipsingh, Assuria, Fernandes, Centrale Bank van Suriname, VSH United, Ordening Goud, Conservation International, WWF Guianas, UNDP, Hakrinbank, Brokopondo Lakewood, REDD+, Focusslijperij, and the Climate Compatible Unit.

Her notable projects include developing a communications strategy for the REDD+ project under UNDP Suriname, which was instrumental in securing a US$3.8 million bid. She led the Forest 93 communications and awareness campaign, developed a multi-stakeholder report on spatial planning for Suriname in 2072, and conducted a KAP survey on the impact of climate change in the agriculture sector.

Lindsay’s achievements have been recognised with several awards, including Communication Person of the Year 2019 by the Centre for Communications and PR in Suriname and multiple Best TV Commercial and Best Campaign awards. She is a board member and co-founder of the Green Growth Suriname Foundation and served as vice-chair of the Suriname-India Chamber of Commerce and Industry. Additionally, she was a guest lecturer at UNASAT for Communications Management.

She has co-authored reports on community conflict in nature conservation and a vision report on spatial planning in Suriname. Fluent in Dutch and English, Lindsay has comprehensive reading skills in German and French and is proficient in Sranantongo.

Lindsay has driven numerous high-impact projects, founded and led successful consultancy firms, and played a pivotal role in critical government initiatives. Her multifaceted expertise and commitment to sustainable development and organisational excellence make her a standout leader.
