Continental Gateway Group (CGG) was established in the Republic of Suriname as a holding company in 2017.

From before its inception, the founding partners of CGG have jointly and individually invested in, co-managed, and provided advisory services to ventures in different sectors in Suriname, the wider LAC region, and Europe. By doing so, they have established a considerable pipeline of public and private sector project opportunities for which the principals are seeking debt and equity funding.

Based hereon and recognizing the need for comprehensive financial services in the LAC region, CGG initiated talks with selected financial institutions with the aim of establishing a financing, investment, and advisory vehicle which provides a comprehensive offering of products and services.

The recent developments related to Africa-Caribbean trade and investments, and in particular the discussions during the “ACTIF” which was held in Barbados in September of 2022 have strengthened CGG’s conviction to contribute to the development of the economies and communities on both sides of the Atlantic Ocean in its broadest configuration.
